Wrapping Up the Holiday Challenge 2021

Once again, we are impressed and humbled by our Concept2 community. Nearly 25,000 of you put in over four billion—yes, billion!—meters between Thanksgiving and Christmas for this year’s Holiday Challenge. Together, your meters raised over $60,000 for five not-for-profit beneficiaries.

This year’s crew rowed more meters per person on average than last year: over 168,000 meters each! The most meters by an individual was 2.3 million—in fact 21 people topped one million meters for this year’s challenge. Whether you contributed one meter, or one million, we thank you for your effort! We are pleased to support these five not-for-profit organizations with the following donations:

Additional Donations

Many of you have asked about donating personally to the charities selected for the Holiday Challenge. For those of you who are interested, we ask that you please send your donations directly to the charities. You can find information on how to donate on each charity's site using the links above. Participants who completed 200k meters or more can expect to receive a Holiday Challenge pin prize sometime in late February or March, depending on your location. We wish you good health and many meters in the new year and hope you’ll join us for more challenges in 2022!
