About the Challenge Series
September 2008 saw the start of this new participation-driven league series. The Concept2 Challenge Series is a league, a ranking and a monthly challenge all rolled into one. The basic format is similar to the highly popular Concept2 Schools Indoor Rowing League. The difference though is that the Challenge Series is for adults competing as individuals rather than in teams.
Free to enter, there is a different challenge each month between September and March and prizes along the way to incentivise participation as well as reward the top performers.
And to keep the momentum of the Challenge Series going over the summer months we have come up with a couple of bonus rounds. These are stand alone rounds - the results do not count towards your season total. The first bonus round is the Henley round, a 2,112m - the same distance rowed by competitors at the Henley Royal Regatta in the first week of July - the closing date is Monday 6th July. The second bonus round will run throughout July and August and will be an 800m sprint with a closing date of 1st September.

Bonus Rounds
There are two bonus rounds to compete in between now and the start of the next season of the Challenge Series. These are stand alone rounds, your results do not affect your season standings.
