Getting There

The Nottingham University Sport Centre is located on the University Park campus on University Boulevard (centre of the map below)

When driving to University Park Campus via satellite navigation, please use NG7 2RJ as the postcode.

From the M1

Leave the motorway at Junction 25 to join the A52 to Nottingham. Follow the A52 for approximately 4 miles, at the Toby Carvery roundabout turn right onto the A6464, turn left at the next roundabout to enter the University's West Entrance.

Travel Information

We are not currently aware of any specific problems related to travel in Nottingham, however if you are aware of anything please let us know so we can update this page.

Parking

There are several car parks on the campus, please see the campus map for full details. All car parking spaces on the campus are available for BIRC competitors/spectators to use on Sunday 25th March.

Please note: some of the parking spaces are a 15-20 minute walk from the Sports Centre please allow plenty of time (we recommend 11/2 hours) before your race time to allow for parking, registering, warming up etc.

Parking Fees: Although the car parks are marked as Pay & Display on the map the charges will not apply on Sunday 25th March, however normal parking restrictions will apply so please park within marked bays and avoid yellow lines - clamping will be in operation.

Accommodation

As the British Indoor Rowing Championship will take place on a Sunday, people may want to stay in Nottingham the night before and/or the night after they race. Nottingham City Council have provided the following hotel information:
