British SkiErg Championship
This year's BIRC featured the inaugral British SkiErg Championship - a new event using the new Concept2 ski-specific ergometer and training tool. The event was run over 500m and nearly 150 entered on the day. The fastest female competitor was 20 year old Jennifer Mellor with a time of 2:12.0 and the fastest man was Jamie Palmer (also 20) who finished in 1:37.0.
